Paula Walters, NREMTP has been in fire and EMS since 1999. She became a Paramedic in 2003 after attending The Medical College of Ohio where she received the Clinical Excellence Award. Paula has been a paramedic for twelve years, firefighter for ten years, and EMS educator for ten years. She has worked in several types of services ranging from fire-based EMS, volunteer, private service, primary EMS, Mobile ICU, Flight medic, and has also worked as a paramedic within adult and pediatric level one trauma centers.
She has been attending Colorado Technical University working toward a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. Paula has a 25-year-old son and enjoys motivational speaking, hiking, writing, volunteering in the community, art, music, and traveling.
